O Realtek AC’97 Driver é um pacote de codecs que servem para melhorar a sua experiência de áudio em computadores que possuam uma placa de som da Realtek.
Ao instalar o pacote, seu computador passa a reproduzir perfeitamente qualquer formato de áudio, mas para tal, é importante que você desinstale qualquer outro pacote de codecs que você tenha instalado previamente, para obter melhor desempenho.
Para que você tenha o áudio seu computador sempre funcionando corretamente, é importante que você mantenha os drivers atualizados. Se você possui uma placa Realtek série AC’97 com sistema operacional Windows nas versões 98, ME, 2000 ou X, pode instalar esta atualização sem problemas.
É um pacote completo, porém não possui uma interface dedicada, então qualquer configuração tem que ser feita no painel de controle.
Este pacote de codecs Realtek AC’97 Audio Driver inclui: drivers/assistente de instalação; RtlRack para Win98/Me/2000/XP e AvRack para Win95/NT4; Realtek Sound Effect Manager (DirectX 8 é necessário para configurações avançadas.)
